Sneezing? Itching? Watery Eyes?
There’s Room for You in Our Research Study
Dust mites can be found just about everywhere people live – especially in bedding, carpets and furniture. Many people have an allergy (an overreaction of the immune system) caused by dust mites. Symptoms can include sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, nasal stuffiness, runny nose and stuffy ears. Exposure to dust mites can also trigger asthma symptoms. Many people notice these symptoms when they stir dust during cleaning activities, or upon waking in the morning due to dust mites in pillows and bedding.
The DynaMITE study is testing an investigational immunotherapy tablet for people with dust mite allergy. You or your child may be eligible to take part if the following criteria are met:
- 12 years of age or older
- Have been taking allergy medications for dust mite allergy symptoms during the past year
Medical history and other criteria will be reviewed at the first study visit. A skin prick allergy test and blood test will also be done. All study-related office visits, medical examinations, and investigational immunotherapy treatment will be provided at no cost to qualified participants.
